My daughter was looking for a small car, having passed her driving test. We struggled to find a decent car at the right price. I was scrolling through Autotrader for quite some time before I came across a lovely black Citroen C1. I telephoned Mote Park Vehicles and spoke to Monty. I knew from the start we were on to a good thing. Monty invited us to go and view the car, which we did. He seriously is the best, most trustworthy salesman we have ever come across. He doesn’t put you under any pressure whatsoever and spends time going over everything with you. He wants to make sure you have the right motor for your needs. Anyway we loved the car and bought it. It was immaculate inside and out with low mileage and a great price and Monty even put new wheel trims on it simply because he didn’t like the wheel trims that were on it. During the buying process Monty kept us updated at every stage of the way, sending us messages and videos when the vehicle was at Ellingham for its MOT and Service and when it had been returned to him and ready for us to collect. My daughter is over the moon with her new car. Monty also did follow up calls to ensure everything was going well with the vehicle. Our experience didn’t end there. I was so impressed with his vehicles, which he carefully handpicks himself, I started looking for another vehicle for our other daughter. Monty came up trumps again and we bought a lovely Suzuki Swift a week later, which again was immaculate inside and out and with low mileage. Again we had the same fabulous service we had when buying the first car. If we need a car in the future we will only go to him. He seriously is a really lovely genuine guy who you just want to do business with because of the exceptional service he provides.
It was my first time buying a car , and so I was rather nervous as I knew I was rather naive to the car market. However as soon as I got there Monty was so helpful and lovely and not pushy what so ever. The decision to buy the car was completely made my own with no external peer pressure. Monty further went out of his way to ensure I had an MOT as soon as possible and even worked to get the car to me on his day off !!! Put aside your preconceptions about car salespeople, and say hello to Monty at Mote Park Vehicles I'd highly recommend Monty to everyone, and as a woman looking to buy a car for the first time in 20yrs, the honest input and full transparency offered by him through the whole process was priceless to me. There was no 'sales-speak' or jargon that I had to wade through and decipher to understand what I was buying. Everything was laid out in ordinary language and everything I asked about was clearly explained. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured which gave me the space I needed to make an informed decision.
